Royal Academy TextWorkshop

“This course should be compulsory for anyone who is writing for an audience.”

It was great to welcome delegates from the Imperial War Museum, the Science Museum, British Motor Museum, Tyne and Wear Museums, and the Oxford University of Natural History, as well as several fellow freelancers and independent consultants. We enjoyed a tour of the Royal Academy’s current exhibition Abstract Expressionism, and a day full of good discussions and learning. Here is some of the feedback:

“My main learning outcome was, don’t be afraid!”

“I will have more confidence to apply a framework to our interpretation.”

“Everything was useful.”

“The best part of the day was the exercises which were daunting but informative.”

“Your top tips are my checklist when I write.”
