Trails TextWorkshop at the Jewish Museum

“I learned the nitty gritty of putting together an engaging trail”

In a tremendous day at the Jewish Museum, we explored the galleries, and groups wrote trails for families and teenagers. Many thanks to Caroline Marcus and Judith Vandervelde for hosting us.

Delegates joined us from museums including the Geffrye, Natural History Museum, Valence House Museum, Past Pleasures and St Paul’s Cathedral, as well as freelancers who we are always delighted to see. Among the responses:

“It was a brilliant day all around and met all my expectations. So glad I came.”

“I enjoyed learning through doing – which was demanding but also fun.”

“I have learned LOTS and it made me realise we need to make our trails a priority.”

“I have lots of new ideas now.”

“I really learned how to inject fun and creative language into trails.”

“I’m writing a trail this evening, so this has been very helpful!”
