Everyone makes the odd spelling mistake, but the word minuscule seems to cause a disproportionately large problem. The surprise with this word is that it isn’t mini-scule – there’s a u where you might expect a second i. The reason I mention it is because today I received some text comments from a curator with the word helpfully changed from correct, to wrong. But there’s still time to remedy that. It was worse when, last summer, someone actually incorrectly-corrected the word after I’d sent in my finished text, so that the wrong spelling was printed on the final panels.
