TextWorkshop goes to Malta

We work with a great team developing the new National Interactive Science Centre.

Last week TextWorkshop flew south to help a wonderful team in Malta develop their new National Interactive Science Centre. We held the sessions in Villa Bighi, a beautiful historic building in Kalkara, just across the bay from Malta’s capital Valletta. It was a pleasure to work with the team, and the blue skies were a bonus, too.

We collaborated with project leaders KCA to deliver the training – TextWorkshop covered text-writing in all its many forms, while KCA and colleagues will be tackling myriad other aspects of developing a great hands-on experience for visitors.

There’s more information about the project here and it will be great to see it all continue to develop.

The NISC Management Development Training was one of two training programmes organised for the Malta Council for Science and Technology’s staff under ESF4.152 Capacity Building for MCST.  This project aimed at addressing the lacunae in the knowledge base and level of expertise of the staff at the Council. The Project was part-financed by the European Union’s Structural Funds under Operational Programme II, Cohesion Policy 2007-2013: Empowering People for More Jobs and a Better Quality of Life, Priority Axis IV – Strengthening of Institutional and Administrative Capacity.
