Digital TextWorkshop at the Saatchi Gallery

“The best part was the step-by-step how-tos, loads of examples and individual feedback.”

“Another fun and informative TextWorkshop” said one delegate on our latest Digital TextWorkshop, at the Saatchi Gallery in December. And we love to welcome people back to develop new skills!

Delegates from local, specialist and national museums joined us in beautiful surroundings at the Saatchi Gallery – the most-followed British gallery or museum on Twitter. Mar Dixon, who runs social media for the charity Kids in Museums, led us in a practical session about social media, and we looked at tips and techniques for making sure your digital writing has a voice, an audience and stays fresh.

Francesca Wilson, the education officer for Saatchi, gave us a great insight into the gallery’s approach with a tour of an intriguing photography exhibition by Sergei Vasiliev.
