Dea on the World Service

Words in panels and labels are an access issue.

Dea was a guest on the Weekend programme on the BBC’s World Service on Saturday, discussing among other things the importance of making sure museum text is truly accessible.

“Words to museums are an access issue. (They are) as important as a ramp on your front door,” she said. “If people can’t access your words, they can’t access your collections and displays.”
